Hosting - What is web space?

Webspace refers to the amount of disk space (expressed in MB or GB) a hosting provider allows for your website's pages, graphics, etc.

If you run a small website that consists of pages and some graphics, you should not need more than 10MB of webspace. About 75MB webspace is sufficient for a medium sized website with a hundred or so pages and graphics.

However, if you plan to host numerous ebooks, PDF files or programs, you'll need lots of webspace - around 500MB webspace and upwards - you'll need to work out just how much.

Go with a hosting provider that gives you atleast 10MB of webspace for a single website - anything lower is not worth the price and you never know when you'll be adding more pages, graphics.
